Our revolutionary technology, known as energy-harvesting, converts temperature, light, or kinetic energy pressing a switch into useable electrical energy enabling battery less, wireless switches, sensors, and actuators for building and industrial automation. Over 100 OEMs have already integrated EnOcean technology enabling peel-and-stick wireless light switches thermostats, humidity sensors, CO monitors, photo sensors and motion detectors.
- As Field Application Engineer, you are the principal technical interface with North American OEM customers.
- Close support of our OEMs product development process, and assist with evaluation of technical issues encountered in the field.
- Envision new solutions to unmet market needs, articulate product proposal and develop functional demonstrations based upon EnOcean self-powered wireless sensing modules.
- Create Application Notes and Designer Notes, facilitating “on-line” tech support
- Planning and Presentation of Training courses (seminars and hands-on workshops) for OEMs.
- Sales support, visit customers, participating in trade shows
- Assist authoring articles and white papers
Experience
- BSEE Degree
- RF (ISM band) experience extremely helpful
- Experience in microcontroller SW programming
- Willing to travel about 10-20% of time. Will require initial 2-weeks company training at corporate headquarters in Munich, Germany.
- Field support experience a plus (Customer focused skills)
