C/C++ Developer (f/m/d)

Location: Praha (Czech Republic) / Hybrid

For our Prague based office, we are looking for a passionate C/C++ Developer able to deliver fast and reliable IoT drivers and other components. You will work with the team in Prague, Oberhaching, and Santa Clara (US) to further develop the SmartServer IoT product, mostly developing and extending drivers for different IoT protocols.

Your role

  • Together with Technical Lead, Product Owner and team, define design and implementation of new features of the SmatServer
  • Together with the team provide estimates, inputs for planning and dependencies
  • Take active role in sprints planning
  • Deliver high quality code backed by automated testing
  • Perform code reviews to support best practices within the team
  • Influence technical solutions and processes
  • Together with the team support Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction teams

Your profile

  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Good knowledge of C/C++, Linux environment, PostgreSql, MQTT, Docker
  • IoT experience and knowledge of IoT protocols is an advantage
  • Knowledge of security and its application to IoT is very desirable
  • Basic networking experience (monitoring, troubleshooting)
  • Can-do mentality
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, equivalent majors or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
