QA Automation Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Praha (Czech Republic) / Hybrid

For our Prague-based office, we are looking for a passionate QA Automation Engineer able to bring to life a fully automated test suite for our SmartServer product. The role requires the ability to connect IoT devices (wiring and network), which is excellent for IoT fans. You will work with a team in Prague, Oberhaching, and Santa Clara on the implementation of test automation and making sure our pipelines are green daily while also improving the development and test environment.

Your role

  • Ensure high-quality production-grade software delivery
  • Continuously test current products and identify deficiencies
  • Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes
  • Code and maintain automated tests
  • Ensure improvement of development and test environment
  • Ensure improvements in product deployments
  • Support Development teams and Customer Support in solving problems
  • Collaborate with Dev/DevOps to ensure product/release quality

Your profile

  • Min. 3 years of experience as a QA/Test Engineer or a similar role
  • Experience with some of the following technologies:
    • Linux
    • Scripting using Python, JavaScript, and/or Bash
    • Robot Framework, Selenium (or a similar browser automation tool)
    • Jenkins
    • VM/Docker
    • Networking – basic configuration and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of SDLC
  • IoT experience is an advantage
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, equivalent majors or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
