EnOcean, world leader in energy harvesting wireless technology, will present how the latest self-powered wireless solutions satisfy the high requirements to HVAC solutions at lowest installation and maintenance cost. Visitors can experience wireless sensors, powered by their surrounding environment, which deliver the necessary data required for the digitization of buildings and the Internet of Things (IoT).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the show, EnOcean will be showcasing a selection of self-powered wireless sensors optimized for HVAC and Lighting Control as well as IoT applications. One of these sensors, for example, is a solar-powered multisensor that measures temperature, humidity, light, acceleration and also has a magnet contact. Thanks to energy harvesting the sensor can be flexibly positioned on the wall or simply used as a stand-alone device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EnOcean\u2019s maintenance-free solutions are based on the EnOcean wireless standard (ISO\/IEC 14543-3-1X) introduced by the EnOcean Alliance on the sub 1 GHz band, which has proven to be a resounding success in building automation, due to its high reliability and a radio range of up to 98 feet. Self-powered wireless sensor solutions help make buildings more flexible, more energy-efficient and more cost-effective.
