Excellent showcase for Sustainable and Smart Buildings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reducing primary energy consumption<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By integrating solar power generation with an energy storage system and advanced energy management technology, Seiko Electric reduced primary energy consumption by 58% at the Koga Office Factory and Engineering Building. The company further optimized energy use by enhancing the building\u2019s insulation, utilizing natural energy sources, and implementing a highly efficient climate control system. As a result, the building achieved an overall energy savings of 57%, earning the highest ratings from Japan\u2019s Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS) and the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EnOcean-Powered Smart Controls<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enhance efficiency and user comfort, the building features a WAG<\/a>O<\/a>-DALI lighting control system and task-based climate management. \u201cEnOcean-based wireless sensors and switches play a crucial role in this setup, enabling seamless automation and energy optimization. The sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions, ensuring real-time adjustments for maximum comfort and efficiency\u201d, emphasizes Florian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
