EnOcean at LightFair 2021: Wireless and maintenance-free lighting solutions for smart buildings and the IoT

At booth #2429 EnOcean will showcase its broad portfolio with products based on the patented energy harvesting wireless technology for maintenance-free smart LED lighting and building controls.

Salt Lake City, UT – October 13, 2021

As North America’s largest lighting trade show, LightFair (27-29 October) brings together industry experts, well-known brands and emerging start-ups to showcase innovations and cutting-edge solutions all about smart lighting. After a forced break in 2020, the trade show is back at the Javits Center, New York City. At the EnOcean Alliance booth #2429 EnOcean will showcase its broad portfolio with products based on the patented energy harvesting wireless technology for maintenance-free smart LED lighting and building controls, including the Easyfit product range based on Bluetooth® and EnOcean radio as well as selected devices for Zigbee.

EnOcean will demonstrate new solar-powered sensor solutions that further drive the use of maintenance-free wireless controls in smart lighting systems and digitized buildings.

In addition to that, at the joint EnOcean and EnOcean Alliance booth #2429 visitors can also experience EnOcean’s Easyfit portfolio covering a full range of DLC-qualified wireless sensors, switches, LED fixture controllers and a commissioning tool for lighting control based on the EnOcean standard at 902 MHz (ISO/IEC 14543-3-11). This includes fixture/zone controllers, self-powered, wireless light switches, occupancy and light level sensors as well as the Navigan™ remote commissioning software.

Thanks to energy harvesting, Easyfit wireless control solutions can be easily added to existing buildings during an upgrade to LED lighting. It is, for example, used in schools around the US to create smart lighting solutions that reduce energy consumption and create a more productive and positive environment at fastest payback periods and lowest maintenance costs.

About EnOcean

EnOcean GmbH is the pioneer of energy harvesting. Headquartered in Oberhaching, near Munich, the company delivers valuable data for the Internet of Things (IoT) with its resource-saving technology. For 20 years, EnOcean produces maintenance-free wireless switches and sensors, which gain their energy from the surrounding – from movement, light or temperature. The combination of miniaturized energy converters, ultra-low power electronics and robust radio technology based on open standards (EnOcean, Zigbee and Bluetooth®) forms the foundation for digitized buildings, services and production processes in the IoT. The self-powered solutions are used in building automation, smart homes, LED lighting control and industrial applications and thus help to optimize the CO2-footprint of buildings. As an innovation driver, EnOcean is a strong partner for more than 350 leading product manufacturers and has already succeeded more than a million buildings worldwide with energy harvesting solutions.
