Remote Commissioning

This functionality is available only in DolphinView Advanced.

Remote Commissioning is performed by the Remote Commissioning Tool. Different command allow an easy remote commissioning and configuration of an Device. Please refer the ReCom Spec for more Details.

How to connect

1. Get Product ID: Use Broadcast Get Product ID, to get nodes which support Recom.
2. Select valid node: Nodes, which are supported by Remote Commissioning are showed by
ReCom flag. Select one of them to start Remote Commissioning.
3. Use Remote Commissioning: Use the "Get Link Table Metadata" to enable Remote Comissioning Operations. For Device and Linked Parameter Configurations use the "Load DDF" Command. This allows to load a Device Description File for the selected Device

Communication Status

No Communication: No command to this device has been sent till now
Okay: The last command got a correspending Response or ACK
Busy: Waiting for a response/or sending data
Timeout/wrong telegram: We got not the expected response in time

Recom Commands

Get Link Table Metadata: Queries the device Link Table Metadata. This commands is needed to enable all link table Operations
Get ProductID: Broadcoast Command, query the product ID of all nodes. All nodes will answear in beaconing mode, until a second recom/reman command is sent.
Apply changed: Apply changes command is sent with apply link table and apply configuration changes bit set.

Link Table Commands

After querying the link table metadata, the outbound and inbound link tables are activated.

Getting & Setting the links

Get Link Table Data: For the Selected (Include Get/Set Operation), the entries are queried
Get All Link Table: The whole link table is queried.
Set Link table: For the Selected (Include Get/Set Operation), the entries are updated
Set All Link Table: The whole link table is updated.

GP Data

If the EEP is B0-00-00 the profile is a GP profile. For the currently selected profile the GP Link able Entry is shown and can be updated.

Get GP Table Data: Gets the GP Teach In message for the selected entry.
Set GP Table Data: Sets the GP Teach In mesage for the selected entry.

Linked Configuration Parameters

To show and modify Linked Configurations parameters a device description file needs to be loaded. If the selected link table entry, has an eep which is supported and contains linked configuration parameters they are shown here.

Get Config: Gets the config parameters for the selected entry. The start,end index will be used for the parameter queries and the length.
Set Config: Parameters with the Include in next set operation, will be set

Remote Learn

This allowws to active remote learn for the Outbound or Inbound table.

Remote Set Learn Mode: Sets the inbound learn mode for the inbound index.
Trigger Outbound Remote Teach-In Request: This will trigger to send a teach-in telegram of the recom device, using the selected channel.

Device Configuration

After loading the Device Description file for the selected node, the device parameters can be seen and changed.

Get Device Configuration: Gets the device parameters for the selected node. The start,end index will be used for the parameter queries and the length.
Set Device Configuration: Parameters with the Include in next set operation, will be set
