MSP430 Flasher installation

The PTM 335 requires the Texas Instruments MSP430 Flasher to communicate with a MSP programmer.

Proceed as follows to install MSP430 Flasher:

  1. Go to http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MSP430_Flasher_-_Command_Line_Programmer
  2. Download the software.
  3. Install the software in your PC. No special folder path is required.
  4. Include the installation folder path in the Windows environment variable PATH: Windows Start->Computer->Properties->Advanced->Env Variables->Path
  5. Double-click on the "Path" variable. Add the folder path of MSP430 Flasher. In this way the PTM 335 Configurator can find the MSP430Flasher.exe
  6. Log off your Windows season and log on again. In this way the Windows PATH environment variable is surely updated.
