Stepcode in Configuration area missing

QUESTION

After restoring the configuration area from backup the conformity check keeps failing?

ANSWER

This is probably caused by the Issue #4567. During backup the Stepcode in the module Configuration Area is not set.
Therefor the EOPX can’t identify the module stepcode and aborts programming.

You can patch the module using the attached CFG HEX file.
Make sure the cfg hex file has the correct module Stepcode. You can edit it like showed in the figure:
