As a Mid-Level Engineer for Embedded Systems/HW/RF (m/f/d) at EnOcean, you will spearhead the development of innovative wireless IoT solutions. Your main responsibility is to engineer self-powered devices by applying your robust knowledge of RF technology and electronics. You will work on designing efficient, low-power embedded systems that form the backbone of our energy-harvesting wireless sensors. Your role is crucial for ensuring our products deliver exceptional performance and reliability to meet the needs of our customers in the IoT space.

Your role

  • Lead the creation of hardware design specifications for self-powered, wireless IoT sensor devices.
  • Execute detailed electronics design, including circuit creation and PCB layouts, focusing on signal integrity and manufacturability.
  • Develop and refine advanced low-power electronics, employing best practices in power management.
  • Apply your RF expertise to enhance performance, emphasizing range improvement, reliability, and resistance to interference.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve intricate hardware issues, leveraging various analytical tools and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware components flawlessly into overall product design.

Your profile

  • A deep-rooted background in hardware engineering, with a specialized focus on RF electronics.
  • Experience in designing and implementing wireless communication systems, with a strong grasp of relevant communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in embedded systems development, and a practical understanding of IoT devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex hardware engineering problems with creative and effective solutions.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A driven individual dedicated to advancing the world of IoT with sustainable and intelligent hardware solutions.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with a concentration on RF technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with RF hardware design and development is essential.
  • A proven track record in the electronics hardware industry and a portfolio of successful projects are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of embedded C/C++ software development is beneficial but not a core requirement.
