We are energy harvesting!

We are proud to say that EnOcean is the originator of the patented energy harvesting wireless technology. We have more than 20 years experience in this field, having introduced the first commercially available products on the market in 2001. Today, EnOcean’s wireless technology is an internationally established standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3-1X). We believe that interoperability is an important factor when realizing wireless sensor solutions successfully. That’s why our wireless products also communicate using Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee Green Power.

EnOcean leads the way with the optimally adjusted combination of miniaturized energy converters, optimized energy management for ultra-low power and wireless protocol – for a fast, almost plug & play product development, including bidirectional communication and enhanced security features such as rolling code and encryption.

Since 2001 EnOcean is promoting energy harvesting wireless technology and has established intellectual property rights collaterally. Over 40 international patent families covering approx. 100 national patents have already been successfully granted in several European countries and the US as well as in Japan and China.
