Update on Coronavirus pandemic 2.0

General situation, as of March 18, 2020

Due to the ever increasing development of the coronavirus pandemic, we provide you with an update on the situation and the actions taken.

The health of our employees and partners is very important to us.

That’s why we at EnOcean have introduced a “work-from-home” policy to contain a potential spread of the virus. We use all the technologies available to us to ensure that we can continue to carry out our activities as normal. Until further notice, we will be happy to support our customers and partners by telephone and by using web meetings. We ask for your understanding that we currently do not allow personal visits and contacts.

Current developments and precautions in individual European countries currently do not affect the supply chain for our products.

At the moment our European suppliers are still manufacturing according to our production planning. We are still able to maintain our supply chains and even the delivery traffic across borders is currently functioning without major restrictions. We are doing our best to meet our supply obligations now and in the future.

We are in close contact with our manufacturing partners to ensure the worldwide supply of components from orders and blanket orders. The situation in China is increasingly relaxing and alternative sources of supply for critical components are being examined. Nevertheless, today we cannot rule out a supply bottleneck for components or restrictions in production and in the supply chain in the future due to the situation in Europe.

Existing orders are being prioritized, new orders are confirmed with a delivery time of 16 weeks.

Please contact your usual contacts or send us an e-mail to info@enocean.com, for our US customers to info.na@enocean.com, if you would like to make individual arrangements with us.

We will regularly inform you about further changes and developments on our website.

Best regards, and stay healthy!
