We continue to support remote working for all employees. We ask for your understanding that personal visits and contacts are currently extremely limited. We are happy to continue to support our customers and partners by telephone and increasingly by using web meetings. We look forward to meeting you digitally and to exchanging ideas with you by telephone. We kindly ask you to support this step.
In our offices and laboratories, we have taken strict hygiene and safety precautions to keep the risk of infection as low as possible. These include regular disinfection and ventilation, Plexiglas walls between desks and limiting the number of people in offices and meeting rooms. Using our own technologies also helps to ensure social distance in the office.
We are constantly monitoring the situation and will react to developments accordingly in order to protect our employees and partners as best we can.
Our European suppliers manufacture according to our production planning. We are still able to maintain our supply chains, the delivery traffic across borders is currently functioning without major restrictions. We are doing our best to meet our supply obligations now and in the future.
We are in close contact with our manufacturing partners to ensure the worldwide supply of components from orders and blanket orders. Alternative sources of supply for critical components are being examined. Nevertheless, today we cannot rule out a supply bottleneck for components or restrictions in production and in the supply chain in the future due to the situation worldwide.
Existing orders are being prioritized, new orders are confirmed with a delivery time of 16 weeks.
