U10 FT connects directly to LON TP/FT-10 Free Topology (FT) Twisted Pair (ISO/IEC 14908-2) channels through a removable connector and is fully compatible with LON link-powered channels.
You can use U10 FT with the SmartConnect Edge Server software and with any OpenLDV-compliant application including the IzoT Commissioning Tool, OpenLNS Commissioning Tool, LonMaker Integration Tool, LonScanner Protocol Analyzer, and other tools and application compatible with OpenLDV 5. The U10 is compatible with hosts implementing a LON or LON/IP stack.
A 460mm USB extension cable is included with the U10 interface to allow for easy connection in various laptop and desktop environments.
